TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Disney Springs visitors will have to look to the sky during their next Walt Disney World Resort visit later this month. A nightly drone show called “Disney Dreams That Soar presented by AT&T” will debut on May 24.
Guests can catch a glimpse of their favorite characters during the limited-time nighttime experience. Disney said 800 drones will work together to create a massive canvas in the night sky.
“We are presenting Disney characters who have had a dream of flying. Not just the idea that they can fly, but the idea of taking their lives to the next level.” said Show Director, Tony Giordano. “We put a lot of thought in making sure that no matter how old you are, or how much of a fan you are, you’re going to see a character that you love.”
Disney said the best place to view the nine-minute show will be along the waterway in the Disney Springs West Side. There will be two shows each evening this summer.
Guests can watch “Disney Dreams That Soar presented by AT&T” nightly from May 24 to Sept. 2 at Disney Springs. Showtimes will vary.
