A Night of Musical Comedy at Tree County Players

Apr. 19—GREENSBURG — Tree County Players presents A Night of Musical Comedy at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, at the Tree County Players Playhouse on W. Main Street.

A Night of Musical Comedy is a 60 to 75 minute show featuring talented local musicians performing laugh-out-loud songs from musical theater. Songs such as "Loathing" from the musical Wicked, "Diva's Lament" from Spamalot, and even "Comedy Tonight" from A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum will be featured.

The show is being directed and produced by Jeff and Cathy Lincourt and Karen Matthews.

"A revue-type show like this is so nice to offer at our theater because it helps us showcase so many of our talented musicians," Matthews said. "Tree County Players is proud to be able to offer lots of different types of shows, and a musical comedy show can appeal to many different types of audiences! We would love to see community members come out and enjoy a great evening of music and laughter."
