Niecy Nash Betts' Wife Jessica Praises 'the Most Beautiful Woman I've Ever Known' on Star's 54th Birthday

Niecy Nash-Betts is feeling the love from her wife Jessica Betts on her 54th birthday!

Betts shared an Instagram picture of the actress posing in a strapless green gown, writing, "Happy Birthday to My Forever Girl & the most beautiful woman I've ever known. @niecynash1 😍 Here's to another lap around the sun ❤️🎉👑👽"

The Emmy winner reacted to the romantic gesture by commenting, "Babeeeeeeee 😢😍❤ I love doing life with you! #TurnUp."

Nash-Betts' birthday celebration began at the stroke of midnight when she was surprised with an assortment of gifts.

"It just turned midnight and I got so many sweet and beautiful presents. And I'm just grateful. I'm grateful. It's a happy birthday," shared Nash-Betts as she wiped tears away from her eyes on her Instagram Story.

"Why are you like this? Why?" the Emmy winner asked Betts, who she married in 2020, in a follow-up clip, to which she replied that it was "just the start."

Later that day, Betts greeted her wife with food and a floral bouquet. The Claws alum's Instagram Story also included messages from friends.

Danielle Pinnock shared a picture of the two and wrote, "Happy birthday to the dopest icon." Amirah Van wrote on her Instagram Story, "Happy Birthday Niecy. Love you, sis," and Garcelle Beauvais shared a selfie of the two writing, "Happy Birthday."

Fans of the actress also used her birthday as an opportunity to share her iconic acceptance speech from the 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards after winning outstanding supporting actress in a limited or anthology series or movie.

The speech went viral after the Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story actress included a shout-out to herself.

"And you know who I want to thank? I want to thank me," said Nash-Betts near the end of her speech. "For believing in me and doing what they said I could not. And I want to say to myself in front of all you beautiful people, 'Go on girl with your bad self. You did that!'"

Apart from her birthday, Nash-Betts has another reason to celebrate: she joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's Grotesquerie. Murphy dropped a teaser for the FX show on Instagram on Friday. It will also star Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville.
