Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Looks Back on 9th Anniversary of “Great Gatsby”-Themed Wedding: 'I'll Love You Forever'

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is feeling nostalgic about her dream wedding as she and husband Jionni LaValle mark their ninth anniversary.

In honor of the occasion Wednesday, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star, 36, shared a video on Instagram of her and LaValle, 36, dancing at their lavish, Great Gatsby-themed nuptials. The clip captures the couple sharing a romantic first dance at their reception, with dramatic dry-ice smoke encircling them, as their loved ones look on.

"HAPPY 9TH ANNIVERSARY hunnie! @jlavalle5," she wrote in the caption. "We had the best fricken Gatsby wedding!"

"You will always be my great Gatsby, old sport," she said, referring to the titular character's nickname for narrator Nick Carraway in the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. "I’ll love you forever."

"CAN WE DO THIS AGAIN FOR 10 YEARS?!" she added.

Several of Polizzi's Jersey Shore costars commented on the anniversary post. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino wrote, "Congratulations," while Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola wished her friend a "Happy Anniversary!!"

LaValle also took a moment to pay tribute to Polizzi, with whom he shares three children: sons Lorenzo Dominic, 11, and Angelo James, 4, and daughter Giovanna Marie, 9.

"Happy Anniversary to the greatest wife I know!! I wouldn’t have it any other way #family," he wrote in his Instagram post, alongside a photo of him dipping Polizzi on the dance floor at their 2014 nuptials.

The couple's anniversary comes just days after Polizzi celebrated her 36th birthday with lots of fun social media tributes from the Jersey Shore crew. Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio posted a behind-the-scenes throwback photo from a Twilight parody the cast performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2010.

In the hilarious image, DelVecchio — in character as werewolf Jacob Black — pretended to take a bite out of Polizzi's arm as she portrayed Bella Swan.

Jenni “JWoww” Farley celebrated her longtime friend by sharing a series of snaps of the pair together from over the years, including a photo of them pregnant at the same time. "Thankful for you 🙏🏼 happy birthday," she wrote to Polizzi.

Polizzi returned to the television screen in the Family Vacation reboot in 2021, after announcing she was "retiring" from the MTV franchise in December 2019 to focus on her family.

"It's just not for me anymore," she told PEOPLE at the time. "Drama has never been my thing. Especially now, I don't want to leave my kids and not see them for days on end to do that. I want to leave and have a good time with my friends and roomies, and then come home and be a mom."

When she returned two years later for season 4, she did it in a fittingly dramatic fashion, jumping out of a cake while holding wine bottles in both of her hands. "Ladies and gentlemen, party's here!" declared Sorrentino.
