Nicole Scherzinger Reveals She's 'Moved to London' After Engagement to Thom Evans: 'UK Girl Era'

The singer, who will star in West End show "Sunset Boulevard" from Thursday, is making the British capital her home

Nicole Scherzinger has moved to London!

The Pussycat Dolls singer, 41, — who begins her run as Norma Desmond in West End show, Sunset Boulevard on Thursday — revealed on Wednesday that she had moved to the British capital by sharing snaps of herself in the streets of her new home city.

“Guess who’s moved to London 🇬🇧🌞,” Scherzinger’s Instagram caption read, alongside a carousel of images of her wearing a backless pink floral dress with brown hat and holding a Celine bag. The snaps showed her smiling and posing while leaning against an iconic red British telephone box.

Scherzinger also shared a Instagram Reel of her enjoying stereotypically British past times. Captioning the video, “In my UK girl era 🇬🇧✨,” the “Don’t Hold Your Breath” singer was filmed entering a black taxi, eating a snack from the British bakery Greggs and looking up at a painting of the late Queen Elizabeth. The fun video was accompanied by the Neil Diamond tune "Sweet Caroline."

Scherzinger’s move comes after she announced her engagement to former rugby player Thom Evans back in June.

At the time, the star shared a snap of the moment Evans, 38, popped the question on a beach via Instagram, which she captioned: “I said yes 💍♥️.”

Evans and Scherzinger first met on The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019 when Scherzinger was a judge on the show and Evans was a contestant. They then made their red carpet debut at a Golden Globes afterparty in January 2020.

Since then, the couple have used social media to share sweet moments in their relationship. "It's just a blessing to have a normal healthy relationship," Scherzinger told Extra of her partnership with Evans in November 2020.

As Scherzinger settles into her “UK girl era," she also has a busy performance schedule. The actress and singer will be starring in the West End show from Thursday until Jan. 6, 2024, at London's Savoy Theatre.
