Nicole Murphy is taking time to relax following director Antoine Fuqua’s public family reunion with his wife.
The actress posted a photo of herself staring off into the sunset. Murphy took the photo in Malibu and captioned it, “Sunsets ❤️ #peaceful #beautiful #nicolemurphy.”
Murphy’s photo comes only days after director Antoine Fuqua was seen with his wife Lela Rochon. Fuqua was caught by photographers kissing Murphy this summer, which was a problem given his marriage.
Rochon recently shared a family photo with Fuqua and their daughter Asia. The couple was attending the play “Into The Woods” where Asia starred as Cinderella.
Rochon wrote, “Congratulations to our amazing daughter @asiafuqua on her starring role of “Cinderella” in #intothewoods you killed it baby girl. We are so proud of you!💕❤️❤️❤️❤️Shine forever bright!!🌟🌟🌟”
A fan commented, “She’s beautiful. Apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Talented parents.😍 Congratulations and many more.”
This photo was the first time the two had been seen publicly since the Nicole Murphy kissing scandal.
After the photos were released, Murphy originally claimed the kiss was friendly but later would apologize. Fuqua and Rochon have been married since 1999.
Back in September, Murphy sat down with Wendy Williams to discuss the incident for the first time. The talk show host didn’t go soft on Murphy for her actions.
Murphy said the photo was “a frozen in time pic” and “I wish it didn’t happen. I think it’s a moment where I should have thought more through the situation, make better judgments, it’s something I apologize for.”
Since the photos came out, Rochon has been out living her best life and remained quiet on the matter. Rochon has been spotted in Cannes and Saint-Tropez. She shared snaps with friends including Angela Bassett, Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie and Holly Robinson Peete.
Murphy recently revealed her mother passed away. She wrote on social media, “Today i lost the most beautiful person in the world to me my mom. I love you so much. Thank you for all the beautiful times we had together. Now you can Rest In Peace with Dad. #purelove #mom #dad #youwillbemissed.”
