Nicole Kidman is feeling generous this holiday season.

The actress surprised the New York crowd at the Winter Garden Theatre following a Saturday showing of "The Music Man" by purchasing Hugh Jackman's hat for $100,000 to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The touching moment came during an auction after the show to raise money for the organization, which helps support people living with HIV/AIDS and those struggling with COVID-19 or other critical illnesses in the U.S.

When the auctioneer called for bids on the signed straw hat Jackman wore on stage, Kidman raised her hand from the audience and shouted, "100! Thousand!" as theater goers gasped and cheered.

In clips captured by fans, Kidman walks to the stage and receives a big hug from Jackman and tells the crowd, "I love you. I love Broadway. And I love what they do, Broadway Cares, but I also want to say this show is extraordinary."

Jackman stars in the Broadway revival as Harold Hill opposite Sutton Foster's Marian Paroo. Jackman and Kidman shared the screen in 2008 movie "Australia."

He thanked his friend and co-star on Instagram.

"The generosity and love emanating from @nicolekidman leaves me speechless," he captioned a post.

Kidman responded: "Right back at you such a generous gorgeous man, it was a brilliant night in the theatre and an honor to be able to donate to @bcefa!"

BCEFA also shared a clip to Instagram, saying it was "by far the largest donation for any one auction item ever."

"That’s 20,000 meals and 2,000 doctor visits this holiday season," the organization wrote.

After COVID-19 delays, "The Music Man" opened on Broadway in February and is set to close in January 2023.
