Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts Spend 'Incredible Night' Seeing Sarah Snook's Play in London

Sarah Snook is starring in a stage adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' in London through May

Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts had a memorable evening watching Sarah Snook onstage.

On Tuesday, Kidman, 56, shared a photo of herself and longtime friend Watts, 55, on her Instagram Story showing the pair posing with Snook, 36, after attending a performance of her play The Picture of Dorian Gray in London.

"Astonishing performance and night in the theatre xx," Kidman wrote with the post, which showed a poster for Snook's play and a backstage photo of the group.

Watts added on her Instagram Story that it was "truly off the charts!!" And in another upload, she wrote Snook "is mindblowing" in the show. "What an incredible night in the theaters," added Watts.

Snook, best known for her role on HBO's Succession, has been starring in the London adaptation of Oscar Wilde's novel of the same name since February, with its website stating the production is running through May 11 at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

The Sydney Theatre Company announced that Snook was joining The Picture of Dorian Grey for its U.K. premiere after runs in Sydney and across Australia on tour back in June 2023. The actress portrays 26 separate characters across the show's runtime, as outlets like The New York Times have noted in reviews.

Prior to sharing the photo of her and Watts with Snook, Kidman posted a separate picture on her Instagram Story showing her attending a performance of The Hills of California. "An incredible show... loved every minute!!" she wrote in a caption of that play, which is directed by Oscar winner Sam Mendes (1917, Skyfall).

Watts and Kidman made fast friends after they met on the set of the 1991 movie Flirting, which marked one of Watts' first roles in Hollywood. The pair have remained close; Watts wished Kidman a happy 56th birthday back in June as she shared a photo of them smiling together on Instagram.

"Happy birthday my darling friend 🎉 here's to more years of deep friendship and fun adventures," Watts wrote in a caption to that post. "Love you to the moon. So grateful for your love and support. 💥💕"
