Nicole Kidman gets her first dog ever: 'Been waiting my whole life for this!'

Nicole Kidman is dog-less no more.

The 52-year-old actress announced on Instagram Wednesday she has officially adopted a dog for the first time in her life.

"My first puppy... actually my first dog," she wrote. "Been waiting my whole life for this!"

The "Big Little Lies" star has yet to announce her new pup's name or its breed, though many have commented it looks like a miniature red poodle.

Celebs and fans fawned over the actress' new fur baby in the comments.

“So cute!” wrote "Wedding Crashers" actress Isla Fisher.

“You’re gonna have a friend for life!” country singer Kimberly Schlapman wrote.

One fan congratulated Kidman, describing how adopting a dog can open a new life chapter.

"You will not believe the love you will experience with this little guy," they wrote. "I had no idea how profound until I invited my pup into my life 11 years ago. I was so anxious we wouldn’t bond and that I wouldn’t know what to do with her and now she is the love of my life. I can’t imagine life without her. Congratulations on meeting your best friend!!!

Another fan said Kidman's future with her new dog is sure to be full of joy.

"Lucky puppy," they wrote. "Its a magical journey enhancing your life soo much."
