Nicole Kidman Is the New Face of Balenciaga

Balenciaga just unveiled its Spring 2023 campaign, highlighting its Garde-Robe line and debuting Nicole Kidman as its newest face, following her appearance in the brand's Paris Couture Week showcase.

Marking a new era in Balenciaga's ready-to-wear offering, the campaign shines a light on contemporary wardrobe staples, fusing elevated cuts with sharp finishes. The campaign stars Kidman alongside actors Isabelle Huppert, Han So Hee alongside models Bella Hadid and Khadim Sock.

Set in a Manhattan office space, the Garde-Robe campaign sees the cast adopt the attitudes of stereotypical businesspeople, representing boredom, stress, overconfidence and indulgence. Surrounded by everyday work paraphernalia, the likes of Hadid and Kidman are showcased amidst an array of landline phones, desktop computers, piles of paper and cardboard boxes.

Captured through portraits by photojournalist Joshua Bright and videos documented by Rosie Marks, the campaign showcases the new collection in its entirety, offering a closer look at luxe wool suits and separates, punctuated with accents of silk, gabardine and denim.

Aiming to showcase the lighthearted moments of the everyday, we see the subjects taking part in guided meditation, doing their nails, scrolling through selfies and uh, breaking their equipment. We've all been there.

The new Garde-Robe collection will be available for purchase from Balenciaga's website and stores in December.
