Nicola Peltz Praises 'Genius' Mother-in-Law Victoria Beckham: 'I Love Wearing Her Clothes' (Exclusive)

Peltz tells PEOPLE she doesn't need a stylist because she has Beckham on call for fashion advice

Nicola Peltz Beckham is proud to rep her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham on red carpets!

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of her directorial debut film, Lola, on Saturday, Nicola, 29, confirmed that she was wearing a "custom" white bustier and fitted pants from Victoria's eponymous clothing brand.

"She is a genius. I am so honored to be able to wear this tonight. I feel so, like, business but sexy, and she's a genius," Nicola tells PEOPLE, adding that she doesn't have a stylist because she doesn't need one.

Instead, she goes to either her mom or her mother-in-law, 49, for any of her styling needs.

"I joke that my mom's my stylist, but she really is," Nicola says. "And how lucky am I that my mother-in-law is Victoria Beckham where I get to go to her for style advice. So really that's who I go to is Victoria and my mom and I'm like, hopefully, she has something that I could wear."

"I love wearing her clothes so much," she adds of Victoria.

The love goes both ways. Victoria stood by Nicola's side at the premiere at the Regency Bruin Theatre along with two of her sons — Nicola's husband, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, and her brother-in-law, Cruz Beckham. Nicola's best friend Selena Gomez and her boyfriend Benny Blanco also showed up to support the first-time director on her big night.

David Beckham supported his daughter-in-law from elsewhere, as seen on his Instagram Story on Saturday.

Victoria wore a black tux suit from her line, she confirmed in an Instagram post after the event.

"@NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham we could not be more proud of you!" she wrote in the caption of the post, which featured photos from the pink carpet. "Congratulations on your incredible film, Lola. Officially in theatres February 9th! Kisses xx."
