From the looks of it, concert goers still have not fully learned the consequences of their actions when they decide to launch something toward a performer on stage during a concert.

Nicki Minaj has become the latest victim of an item being thrown toward her while putting on a show—and based on her reaction, she clearly did not appreciate the gesture.

In the latest case of an object purposely being catapulted onto the stage while someone is actively performing, video footage depicts the moment the Pink Friday rapper was putting on a show in Detroit as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, only to have a rosy-colored item hurled toward her.

Most times, the artist may stop the show for a moment—especially in situations where they have actually been hit—to address the dangers of throwing things on stage, or even have someone removed from the event if the perpetrator can be accurately identified.

In this case, though, fans were stunned after Nicki retaliated instinctually, immediately picking the item up and throwing it right back out into the crowd from whence it came.

"AS SHE SHOULDVE," one reasoned, while another noticed the ferocity of the toss back, writing, "THE BASEBALL PITCH," in part.

"The reflex oh wow," a third said.

Meanwhile, another X user who was seemingly in attendance during the incident popped in to provide more insight into the situation. "She didn’t know they were trying to give her a bracelet so she threw it back and apparently let him on stage to dance," they wrote, before adding, "Just so ppl know."

Still, someone else suggested, "It would have been more appropriate to address the incident calmly and ensure the safety of everyone present."
