Sorry, Barbz. You’re gonna have to postpone all those Pink Friday 2 parties.
On Tuesday, Nicki Minaj announced on an Instagram livestream that she was moving the release of her highly-anticipated new album from Nov. 17 to Dec. 8, which also happens to be her birthday. She explained that there was an issue with shipping the vinyl copies, so she chose from two available dates–one of which was Dec. 8.

For one fan, December is all about Nicki now. They noted that the Barbz have no time for holiday music, writing on X, “Our goal: 430k for Pink Friday 2, which will chart on BILLBOARD HOT 200. Stop worrying about Christmas songs. They do not concern us.”

Just because she’s moving the album doesn’t mean Nicki’s done with Nov. 17, as she’s going to announce her 2024 tour that day. So if you’ve got a Barb in your life, be sure to mark both Nov. 17 and Dec. 8 on the calendar, and just let them have their fun.
