Nicki Minaj Claims Megan Thee Stallion Sought A “Rihanna Moment” After Getting Shot

Nicki Minaj has spent the last almost week unloading her clip of disses Megan Thee Stallion’s way, whether it be tweets or her actual diss track “Big Foot.” In one of her recent rants, she claimed that the 28-year-old sought her “Rihanna moment” after being shot by Tory Lanez.

The Pink Friday 2 artist joined Joe Budden in Spaces on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday (Jan. 31). Naturally, they discussed the hot topic in her life and Minaj held nothing back. At one point, she accused the Houston rapper of trying to gain sympathy to push her career further, likening it to how the ANTI artist was embraced following her 2009 assault at the hands of Chris Brown.

“It’s so obvious,” she said. “She wanted a Rihanna moment so bad.” One of the other speakers in the Spaces requested that she clarify what she meant, and the Queens rapper simply encouraged them to use Google. Her insinuation stemmed from the fact that Meg had an emotional interview with Gayle King in April 2022, much like Rihanna did with ABC News months after she was assaulted. Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s feud hit a new level this past Friday when the latter released her latest single “Hiss.” At one point in the record, she references “Megan’s Law,” a federal law that requires information about registered sex offenders to be made public. Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, was convicted of attempted rape in 1995, and despite the heinous act, she has proudly stood by him.

The mother of one fired back with several tweets over the weekend and promoted her response record “Big Foot,” which finally came out on Monday (Jan. 29). In the record, she mentions several of the men Meg has been romantically tied to over the last few years and claims that she had sex with her deceased mother’s former partner.

As if that wasn’t enough, Minaj claimed that she has four more diss records coming. It is unclear when those will come out, but in the meantime, listen to “Hiss” and “Big Foot” below.
