Nicki Minaj Believes Her Montreal Show Was Sabotaged, Causing Her To Be 3 Hours Late

Nicki Minaj’s fans found themselves waiting three hours in Montreal for her to touch down for her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Amid the crowd’s anticipation, Minaj made sure to inform The Barbz of what took place causing her tardiness — placing blame on the private airline that she was using.

“Yesterday my flight scheduled for midnight shut their plane down @ 12:58pm. Never in 15 years have I heard of anything like that,’ she wrote on X at 11:00 PM (April 17). “A 70K G4 and thought we were going to PAY THEM for that flight as well as whatever flight I’d have to get on next. They thought wrong. Today, we asked if we could leave at 1pm. They said no, we could leave at 3pm. Then they said that won’t work, we’d need to leave at 5pm. For a 930pm show in Canada. When we got to the plane, they then said they were “STILL FUELING”. At 630pm, they said they were “still fueling” (for an hour & a half flight).”

“When we did get to Canada, they did a bunch of stuff they didn’t do the last 2 times I came for the OVO FEST,” she further explained. “They started searching through my personal purses. Usually they take me to the car with my purses & check the bigger luggage. Nope. Not this time.”

She went on, “They know I have a show, they know we’re 20 mins away. They know we don’t have a police escort. The sabotage be real but GOD IS REALER. I’ll be on stage in 15 mins. Barbz, I can’t wait to see you. We’re going to have a magical night. Love you. My apologies. I’m going to get to the bottom of this when I get off stage.”

Around 2:49 AM, Minaj followed up with another post assuming that Montreal held her up because they possibly thought her husband was “trying” to attend the show. She clarified that he’s actually been on tour with her the entire time.

“My husband has been on the entire tour they prob thought he was tryna come to the Montreal show. LMFAOOOOO,” she wrote. “They wanted a moment 4 life. I love being the prettiest, smartest, most talented MAIN character on earth.”

“Thank you for all this promo for the #FTCUSleezeMix tmrw. 25 SOLD OUT SHOWS God, you rlly be showing up & showing out for me. I give you all the GLORY. Lil mangy dogs,” she added.

Minaj’s spill comes on the heels of her husband, Kenneth Petty, recently getting the green light to join her for the international leg of her world tour.

Petty, who’s currently on probation and house arrest, asked a judge for permission to travel out of the country with his wife “for various purposes, including childcare,” which, at first, had no position from the judge.

However, a judge approved Petty’s request on Tuesday (April 16).

“Defendant Kenneth Petty (‘Mr. Petty’), by and through counsel, hereby applies to the Court for an Order allowing him to travel out of the country with his family for his wife’s tour and her professional purposes,” the filing states. “Mr. Petty and Mrs. Petty believe Mr. Petty is necessary to accompany the family on the tour for various purposes, including childcare.”

“The Government has been notified about this application and takes no position,” it continued. “Mr. Petty’s probation officer has been notified of this application and has no objection to the travel request.”

The motion also details that upon his arrival to Europe, Petty will provide his probation officer with a travel itinerary, stay in contact with authorities, and check in with Los Angeles County once he returns.

The Pink Friday 2 international leg will hit Toronto tonight (April 18) before concluding July 12 in London.
