Nicki Minaj has apologized to fans after canceling her Manchester, UK concert following her arrest on drug possession charges in Amsterdam Saturday.

“Please please please accept my deepest & most sincere apologies,” the 41-year-old rapper wrote in an X post Saturday night. The “Barbie World” singer wrote that she’d just arrived at her hotel after spending six hours in an Amsterdam jail.

Minaj had been taken into police custody at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Saturday morning on suspicion of “exporting soft drugs” with the lyricist confirming that they’d found marijuana in her luggage.

The singer, who filmed her arrest and posted it on Instagram Live, was released from police custody that evening after paying a fine of 350 Euros (around $380), TMZ reported.

Due to her detainment, Minaj was forced to cancel her “Pink Friday 2” show in Manchester that evening despite the venue’s efforts to postpone the concert for later that night.

In the latest X post, the “Roman Holiday” singer blamed Amsterdam officials for nixing the concert. “They succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight,” she said. “I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time.”

Minaj added that she plans to take legal action against the Amsterdam authorities, writing: “I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. I’ll have the lawyers & GOD take it from here tho.”

The content of the proposed lawsuit is yet unclear, however, Minaj claimed on X that the police took her bags without her “consent,” adding that the weed belonged to one of her security guards.

The lyricist also pledged to reschedule the canceled concert, which she says could go down in June or July.

She added there would be an added bonus for ticket holders for the scrapped show, but did not specify what it would be.

Tonight’s show in Birmingham and the Manchester concert on May 30 will still go down as scheduled, per the post.
