Nicki Minaj is once again allowing cameras into her life to show the high highs and low lows of being the most successful female rapper of all time.

The “Good Form” performer announced via Instagram on Friday that HBO Max has picked up a six episode docuseries giving her fans, the Barbs, another inside look at her life.

In the caption, she states: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to have #HBOMAX on board to help me tell my story in this delicate & memorable way. A way that my fans will love forever. This doc is next level. I can promise you that.”

As part of her career ascent in 2010, Minaj famously participated in an MTV documentary special titled Nicki Minaj: My Time Now that featured a scene known as the Pickle Juice speech that went viral, and helped establish her as a role model for women trying to make it in the entertainment industry.

Five years later, in 2015, she did a sequel to the special titled My Time Again that ended with her saying that she would want a family by the next documentary she does.

With this untitled HBO Max docuseries, Minaj makes good on her word, now having both achieved her goal of having a husband and child, and hitting the top of the Hot 100 for the first time (twice!) this year.

Director Michael John Warren, who worked on the two past Minaj documentary specials, and made his directorial debut with Jay-Z’s Fade to Black, will be helming this series.

“I love that this series not only provides an all-access glimpse at one of the most iconic musicians of our generation; it also profiles the brave woman behind the artist, Onika," Warren said in a statement. "I believe all of us can learn a great deal from her remarkable professional and personal life. It’s an honor to be entrusted with this dynamic story.”

A release date for the series has not yet been announced.
