Nick Jonas Surprises Daughter Malti in a Cute New Video & Her Reaction To Seeing Her Dad Is Everything

Nick Jonas’s daughter Malti Marie, 2, proved she is still a daddy’s girl in the cutest new video. The “Waffle House” singer posted a clip of himself surprising his daughter, who he shares with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and it’s impossible not to smile at her reaction.
The Jonas Brothers singer shared the video on Instagram this weekend, captioned simply, “😍.”

Malti is wearing a vintage-style floral dress as she looks at books stacked up in an armchair. There’s a blanket and toys on the ground nearby, and she is distractedly playing away. Jonas gets closer to her and gently says, “Boo!” making Malti whip around. She turns with the biggest smile on her face, showing off her toothy grin and sweet dimples as she smiles up at her dad. Malti wasn’t even scared — she just looks totally joyful to see her dad.
The family of three is currently in Ireland as Jonas films the musical comedy, Power Ballad. Prior to this, Chopra Jonas and Malti were in France as the Citadel star filmed Head of State. Chopra Jonas posted last week, “Husband appreciation post: As I finish one he starts one. The universe keeps us in sync. So happy to be reunited as he starts filming Power Ballad. Congratulations on your first day baby. There is no one who works harder than you. This is going to be amazing. 🤩❤️🙌”
She also shared a new family photo of the reunion, captioning it, “My angels.. @maltimarie @nickjonas.” In the snap, she holds Malti on her shoulder as the toddler tries to grab her mom’s hat and Jonas stands nearby smiling at them. They are so sweet!
On Mother’s Day, Chopra Jonas shared pictures of her and Malti her mom Dr Madhu Akhouri Chopra and with Jonas’s mom Denise Jonas. “Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who has been lucky enough to have had the love , care and protection of a mother and or mother figures,” the Love Again star wrote in the lengthy caption. She opened up about her village, adding, “As a new mother navigating what my version of MMs upbringing will be like, I have sweet nostalgia of mine reflected in every day with her. My mother and mother in law have been absolutely magical in this journey. I could not have been able to balance all that I do without them. Thank you @drmadhuakhourichopra @mamadjonas”

The “Jealous” singer shared his own Mother’s Day post, writing a heartfelt tribute to all the moms in his life. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures out there. I am so lucky to have been raised by such an incredible mother… and to now be married to the most amazing mom ever,” he wrote. “You are so full of love and thoughtfulness with our daughter @priyankachopra you are such an inspiration in every way. And special shout out to the world’s greatest mother in law. So blessed. MM and I love the three of you so much.”
One thing’s for sure: Malti is surrounded by love.
