Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Jonas!

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in front of family and friends in India on Saturday at the lavish Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace. According to Vogue, the actress wore a custom dress by Ralph Lauren.

The bride and groom took to their respective social media platforms Saturday to post some images from their wedding as well as a shared message.

The couple told Vogue ahead of their nuptials they planned to have two ceremonies at the palace: a traditional Hindu wedding (called a puja taking place Sunday) and a Christian service officiated by Jonas’s father. They promised their three-day wedding extravaganza was going to be over the top.

“People will need vacations after this wedding,” Chopra joked to the magazine.

For the Indian ceremony, Nick confirmed he planned to ride in on a horse as is customary, sporting traditional garb.

Nick’s brothers, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie Jonas, served as groomsmen (according to an Instagram post from the singer earlier this month) as well as actor Jonathan Tucker and Chopra’s brother, Siddharth. Joe’s fiancée, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, was in attendance as well as she has been involved in all of the couple’s wedding festivities, including Chopra’s bachelorette party in Amsterdam.

Jonas and Chopra first connected in September 2016.

“It was Nick who sent the first message,” the Indian superstar recalled to Vogue. He sent her a direct message on Twitter and she followed up with her phone number. Although they had some flirty text exchanges, the pair didn’t meet in person until February 2017 at the Vanity Fair Oscar party.

Jonas told the magazine that when he saw her, he got down “on one knee — this is in front of a bunch of people — and I say, ‘You’re real. Where have you been all my life?’ Like, loud.”

The Quantico actress, 36, and “Jealous” singer, 26, were both (coincidentally) invited by Ralph Lauren to the 2017 Met Ball and decided to attend together. Although they had a great evening, they didn’t see each other again for one year — until the 2018 Met Ball. Then, timing worked in their favor.

Back in Los Angeles, the duo went out several times in the weeks that followed and after their third date, Jonas called his mom and told him Chopra was the one. Two months later, he popped the question. Jonas closed down a Tiffany store in London to buy Chopra an engagement ring ahead of their July trip to Crete, Greece.

“I got down on one knee, again, and I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?” Jonas reminisced to Vogue. “No joke — she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence.” (Chopra told the magazine she was speechless.)

“I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections,” he recalled saying.

While some fans were taken aback by their quick engagement, it seems their courtship went on longer than many people realized.

“People would ask us, in interview settings and in private, ‘Are you guys seeing each other?'” Jonas told Jimmy Kimmel in September. “And the answer was no. People thought we were being coy, and so did we, until we cut to, now we’re engaged, so the story sort of wrote itself. We then met up a couple of months ago, five months ago now, and it was kind of immediate. We just knew it was right and jumped right in.”

In August, the couple traveled to Mumbai where they celebrated their impending nuptials with a traditional roka ceremony. At the event, the couple exchanges rings in front of their family and friends, making the engagement official.

“It’s funny, we had this beautiful ceremony and we felt so connected,” Jonas told Kimmel. “Our families all met and it was spiritual. And then we put it on Instagram, and we were like, ‘Oh my God, it’s official!'”

“I think the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and the importance of being connected to those that are always going to be there for you,” Jonas added on the Today show. “We found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing and I’m excited to start our life together.” (For the record, Jonas told Vogue he thinks they’re already on their third lifetime together, possibly even fourth.)

This is the first marriage for both stars.
