Nick Carter Reveals Daughter's Name in First Baby Photo!
Nick Carter has revealed his daughter's name, just days after announcing her birth.
In the first photo of his baby's face, the Backstreet Boy told fans he and his wife, Lauren Kitt, decided to name her Saoirse Reign Carter.
Sharing a snap from the moment she was born, Carter shared the news in a beautiful tribute to his "incredibly strong wife."
"For 2 years I watched you endure some of the hardest things a husband could ever witness," he stated. "Going through the ups and downs of pregnancy all in the hopes that just maybe, with a little help from up above, we would get to this point."
Remembering a moment the two shared prior to the pregnancy, Nick said the only thing he wanted for his birthday was a baby.
He also seemingly refers to the miscarriage Lauren suffered previously.
"I already knew that Saoirse was coming back to us," he stated, which sounds like Saoirse may have been the name they picked out for their baby before miscarrying in September 2018.
At the time, Nick took to social media to reveal the heartbreaking news.
"God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months," he shared with fans. "I'm heart broken." Nick added it was a baby girl, saying, "It was a little sister for Odin."
As The Blast reported, Nick and Lauren welcomed their daughter last week but Saoirse wasn't protected from uncle Aaron Carter just yet.
Nick and his sister, Angel, both filed for restraining orders against Aaron and accused their brother of harboring violent thoughts towards them.
The Backstreet Boy stated that Aaron "harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child."
Nick and Lauren are also parents to three-year-old son, Odin Reign Carter.
