Nick Cannon claims that Kim Kardashian “wishes” she looked like Beyoncé. During a recent episode of The Daily Cannon, Cannon and his cohosts Mason and Courtney Bee discussed Bey’s controversial Renaissance premiere look. Mason relayed the news that some fans thought Beyoncé was attempting to bleach her skin while others felt she looked like Kim Kardashian.

Bee defended the B-Day singer and called bull on their attempt to discredit her. “I know they tried it, ’cause who the f**k look like Kim Kardashian?” Cannon followed up and jokingly responded, “Kim Kardashian wanna look like Beyoncé! Kim Kardashian wished she looked like that!—She been looking the same since she was 16!”

Ahead of her Renaissance movie premiere, Bey shared pictures of her look on Instagram. Some spectators called out the “Plastic Off The Sofa” artist’s photo and claimed she bleached her skin. Beyoncé’s mother caught wind of the comments and responded to the assumption.

Tina Knowles reposted a fan-cam featuring her daughter’s anthem “BROWN SKIN GIRL” over clips of the icon over the years. Towards the end of the video, it read, “Beyoncé is a brown skin girl. Sometimes, more or less light. A brown skin girl is more than a skin color. It’s a culture, a pride, a strength.”

“Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,” the mother typed on IG. “She does a film, called the Renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?”

Ms. Tina then shifted her attention at people in the Black community. She addressed the people who have been spreading the “stupid narrative with hate and jealousy.” However, Knowles was most upset over a white woman from TMZ allegedly reaching out to Bey’s stylist for a statement on her “wanting to be white.”

“Well that made my blood boil — that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness,” Knowles typed. “What’s really most disappointing is that some Black people, yes you bozos that’s on social media. Lying and faking and acting like you’re so ignorant that you don’t understand. That Black women have worn platinum hair since the Etta James days. I am sick and tired of people attacking her.”
