Nick Aldis reflects on IMPACT Slammiversary.
At the July 15 pay-per-view, Aldis competed in the main event, as he challenged Alex Shelley for the IMPACT World Championship. Shelley emerged victorious, and PWInsider subsequently reported that Aldis wrapped up with IMPACT at the post-Slammiversary TV tapings.
In a tweet on July 18, Aldis responded to a fan who praised the match. He stated that Slammiversary was a fantastic pay-per-view, and he was honored to be in the main event. Aldis also shared his belief that the future of IMPACT is in good hands.
#Slammiversary was a fantastic ppv start to finish and I was honored to be in the main event. It was a huge challenge following all the great matches on the card, and I felt we offered something totally different and unique. The future of @IMPACTWRESTLING is in good hands. https://t.co/HZ5uRFKxdC
