Nia Long's Controversial 'Empire' Drama Both On and Off Screen
On Empire, Nia Long came out with a bang as Giuliana, the mistreated wife of Rafael, a Las Vegas kingpin and one of Shine's more dangerous associates. Rafael was about to be instrumental in furthering Andre's anti-Lucious plot until things got heated between him and Giuliana. Suspecting that Giuliana had set him up upon seeing Andre Lyon, she tried to convince her horrible husband that she had nothing to do with his presence. But Rafael seemed less than convinced as he slapped her, sent her to a corner and then got a gun that he seemed prepared to use on Andre. Giuliana wasn't having though and she pulled out her own gun and Rafael's head recepted her bullet. It turns out that the drama wasn't just on camera for Nia Long with TMZ reporting various rumors of Long's bad behavior on the set of Empire, including her and Taraji P. Henson "at each other's throats" to the point of having to shoot scenes separately. Though Long's reps call the stories "complete nonsense" we are wondering if her character Giuliana will make it to season four.
