But first, to build the teams, the Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Player Draft will take place on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m PT on ET, ESPN2, SN, and TVAS.

As with the last several years, the 2024 NHL All-Star Game features 44 of the top players in the National Hockey League, with captains from each of the four divisions: Team Matthews, Team McDavid, Team MacKinnon, and Team Hughes.

This year’s NHL All-Star Game will go back to featuring a unique All-Star Player Draft, with the competition broken down into four teams, each with a captain, assistant captain and celebrity captain. Teams compete in a 3-on-3 single-elimination format.
