DJ Moore is soaking up all the new experiences recent months have brought.

The Chicago Bears wide receiver, 26, has adjusted to a new city and started making memories with his family, which grew with the birth of son Denniston Oliver Moore III in July.

Speaking with PEOPLE about what it's been like to settle into a new city as a family of four — with fiancée Raven Battle, their infant son, and daughter Arielle Melody, 4 — Moore says it's been "nothing but good times."

"Being a family of four now has been amazing! This season has been nothing but good times, from snow days to the movies we watched. We’re two weeks out of the season and it has been amazing to be home."

One of the ways the family celebrated this special time is with new family photos by Kinda Arzon shared exclusively with PEOPLE, showing their little family laughing and loving together.

This year, Moore got ready for the season with a new baby at home, noting that his family had to "adjust pretty quickly" to their new normal.

"Ari has jumped right into the big sister role so perfectly. She’s been very helpful and is so proud to be a big sister!" the couple shares. "Little Moore just turned 6 months & he is already trying to pull up on things and walk in order to keep up with Ari."

"Seeing them play and make each other smile makes our day. They’re both quite the little daredevils," Moore laughs.

The family is looking forward to doing some traveling together between now and gearing up for next season.

"We’re going on two cruises and then going back to our home in North Carolina. We can’t wait to come back here [to Chicago] and spend the spring and summer here and do more than we got to last year," Moore says.

While the family has more exploring to do, Chicago has already provided them with some adventures, as well as a warm welcome from fans.

"The fan base has been the highlight," Moore says. "They've welcomed us with open arms and have been the best."

The city has had so much to offer the couple and their two young kids, "from restaurants and shopping to visiting the zoo and children's museums."

The family has also enjoyed the opportunity to "support the city's other sports teams by attending games," having checked out the Bulls, White Sox, and Cubs so far.

"The Blackhawks are next on our list," the couple shares, adding, "We can't wait."

In checking out all the city has to offer, they're also getting to see their kids blossom in their own interests.

"Arielle loves to give back in our free time," Moore shares. "She loves zip lining at Sky Zone and riding roller coasters at Disney, her favorite being Slinky Dog Dash."

Meanwhile "Lil DJ" as they're calling their son has been starting to get on the move. "He loves pulling himself up, crawling, and keeping up with his big sister. At the rate he’s moving he’ll be walking before 1," he laughs.

The family recently celebrated their little guys with a "halftime celebration" marking him turning 6 months old.

"We chose a halftime theme for his 6 months because he’s halfway to one year old already!" Battle shares.

This downtime will also give the couple a little time to think about their wedding after getting engaged last February.

"We haven’t done much planning yet. We’ve been enjoying our engagement and focusing on the season," Battle explains.

"I look forward to seeing my babies all dressed up as we exchange vows. During the bye week, we stayed at Disney World and went to check out Disney's Wedding Pavilion," she says,

Moore is moving through the offseason in a place of gratitude after a successful first year with the Bears.

"It feels good to actually perform the way that I have. It was more than I expected and to have a connection with the team so fast was great," he shares. "Coming from the Panthers to Chicago, I didn't have any outrageous expectations for myself, but to do what I did this year was just unbelievable, and I just thank God. I just want to build on that in the community and on the field."

Like so many others around the country, the Moore's will be tuned into Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11. Moore predicts a matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Fransisco 49ers.

"I’m looking forward to seeing Christian McCaffrey and his first Super Bowl appearance," Moore shares, adding, "And hopefully win it."
