The NFL playoffs are on deck.

But are you ready to watch all the action?

For the first time, a playoff game will be available on Peacock exclusively, meaning unless you have the streaming service, you'll be shut out.

And it's a great game too. Saturday night's game features the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs squaring off against the Miami Dolphins, which boasts one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.

It's a game you won't want to miss, but how can you watch?

What is Peacock?

Peacock is NBC's streaming service. The service, which is owned by Comcast, debuted in the summer of 2020 and offers movies, TV shows, live sports and other events.

The service carried Sunday Night Football all season, but those games were also broadcast on NBC. Saturday night's game will only air on Peacock.

What does Peacock offer?

On top of this NFL game, Peacock offers movies, as well as TV shows including all the Law and Order franchises, The Office, King of Queens and 30 Rock.

Peacock also airs college sports including Big 10 basketball, Premier League Soccer and is home to the former WWE Network, home for all premium live events and the promotion's entire network, including every pay per view, Monday Night Raw and Smackdown in history.

It also airs news and true crime stories, as well as just about anything you'll see on NBC.

How do you get Peacock?

You can sign up at Peacock's website.

For a premium subscription that includes all content, it's $5.99 a month.

For the expanded package, premium plus, that includes all the shows, as well as no ads, your local NBC channel and the ability to download and watch shows offline, you'll pay $11.99 a month.

You can watch Peacock on as many as three devices at once, and create six profiles with kid-safety settings.

How can I watch Peacock?

If you have Comcast cable, Peacock is an app. It's also available on all smart TVs, iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as devices like Rokus, smart TVs, Fire TV and Chromecast. If you stream Netflix or Hulu, chances are you'll stream Peacock the same way.

Saturday Night Football

Peacock will likely add a lot of new subscribers this week because it will stream arguably the best game of Super Wildcard weekend.

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football, which sent them from the No. 2 seed in the playoffs to the sixth seed. Instead of playing in warm Miami, the Dolphins will travel to Kansas City to play the defending champs.

The task isn't as daunting as it may have been in previous seasons. The Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, but the offense has struggled putting up points this year.

The Dolphins come into the game having blown a second-half lead to the Buffalo Bills, but they should be in better shape Saturday.

Miami played without the services of running back Raheem Mostart and wideout Jaylen Waddle, who both missed the game with ankle injuries. They should be back Saturday, and they'll need them to play against a very good Kansas City defense.

Will Taylor Swift be on Peacock?

Assuming she doesn't break up and write a song about KC tight end Kelce in the next few days, there's a good chance Taylor Swift will be in the house.

The skinny: The Chiefs defeated the Dolphins 21-14 when the teams played Nov. 21. Kansas City had a 21-0 lead at halftime and held on after surrendering a pair of third-quarter touchdowns. Former Kansas City wideout Tyreek Hill led Miami in receiving with eight grabs for 62 yards. Thanks to his outrageous season (119 catches, 1,799 yards, 13 touchdowns) and his connection to the Chiefs, he'll receive a lot of attention this week. Kansas City has the home field advantage, but the Chiefs are limping into the playoffs, having lost four of their past six games. The Dolphins have also struggled, losing their final two games of the season and three of the past five.
