NFL Player Wows ‘AGT’ Judges With Awesome Card Trick

National Football League long snapper Jon Dorenbos plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, but he didn’t go on America’s Got Talent to throw footballs between his legs. Jon is a magician in his spare time, and he surprised everyone with a pretty amazing card trick.

It started with the longtime NFL player having Heidi Klum randomly select a card out of a deck. Without looking at it, Jon folded it up and put it in a paper clip in front of Mel B.

The Philadelphia Eagle then performed a series of tricks where he pulled diamonds out of the deck in order, such as one where he had Mel B. say stop as he was laying cards out — she stopped him on the five of diamonds. Three tricks later, Jon had Howie randomly select a card as he was flipping through them — the eight of diamonds — and so on and so forth until all of the diamonds were sequentially pulled from the deck.

Jon then had Simon think of a card and say what it was: the three of clubs. Dorenbos then randomly shuffled the cards and laid out all of the clubs sequentially on the table. Jon then grabbed the card he originally folded up in the paper clip and gave it to Simon, who unfolded it to reveal the three of clubs!

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
