‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Financier Sees Production President Depart

Joe Gatta has departed from his post as president of production at financier Red Granite Pictures after three years in the slot.

Gatta was involved with “Friends With Kids,” Daniel Radcliffe’s “Horns” and “Out of the Furnace,” on which he’s an executive producer credit. The company had no comment about Gatta leaving.

Red Granite financed and produced “The Wolf of Wall Street” during Gatta’s tenure.

Gatta joined Red Granite from Millenium Films in 2011 along with Danny Dimbort and Christian Mercuri. While at Millennium, he oversaw production on the slate including “Conan the Barbarian.”
