Weather Channel Founder to CNN: ‘Weather Channel Has Drunk the Kool-Aid’ on Climate Change (Video)

A bit of a stormy interview Sunday on “Reliable Sources.”

“CNN has taken a very strong position on global warming that it is a consensus; well there is no consensus in science…science is about facts,” Weather Channel founder John Coleman told Brian Stelter.

“There is no question about it. Climate change is not happening. There is no significant man-made global warming now. There hasn't been any in the past, and there's no reason to expect any in the future. There's a whole lot of baloney,” an indignant Coleman continued.

Stelter told Coleman they'll have to agree to disagree: “I do hope viewers are googling the data you're sharing because I do think it's skewed, I have to say that.” Stelter then asked him if he thinks The Weather Channel is part of the global warming “conspiracy.”

“They've drunk the Kool-Aid,” Coleman surmised.

Following Coleman was Weather Channel CEO David Kenny, who denounced his claims and reiterated his channel's position that climate change is real.
