The Voice Predictions: Who's at Risk on Top 11 Results Night?
One gazelle is straggling behind the pack — at least in terms of iTunes sales — among The Voice‘s Season 11 Top 11. But will she pay the ultimate price during tonight’s results telecast (8/7c on NBC)?

At first glance, things don’t look too promising for Team Miley diva Ali Caldwel, the talented soul singer who got saddled with an uptempo Dolly Parton ditty, a Tina Turner wardrobe knockoff and the dreaded opening performance slot on Monday — and subsequently failed to crack the iTunes Top 200 by the close of this week’s voting window.
Granted, downloads are only one component of the elimination equation — there’s also online, Facebook and Voice app votes to consider — but over the last several seasons, with only a few exceptions, those at or near the bottom of the sales chart have found themselves fighting for a Twitter save. And that was certainly the case during Season 11 Top 12 week, when Sa’Rayah was the sole contestant to land outside the Top 200 — and wound up going home.
This week, there’ll be a Bottom 2, an instant save, and only one elimination.

First things first: By cracking the Top 10 and qualifying for the iTunes 5x multiplier, Sundance is as safe as his beard is long. Billy, meanwhile, missed the bonus by one tick — thanks DJ Snake featuring Justin Bieber — but he’s as likely to be in the Bottom 2 as Blake is to release an EDM album.
It also appears that Wé, Aaron, Brendan, Austin and Darby will hear their names shouted enthusiastically (and in no particular order) by Carson Daly in the first half of the results show.
That leaves four artists potentially in peril: Courtney, Josh, Christian and Ali.

Yet while Christian and Ali were the clear losers on the charts, there’s one caveat against assuming they’ll automatically be the Bottom 2: Is there anyone in America who’s itching to download a cover of “Nine to Five” or “Rosanna” in 2016? Those song choices seemed designed to repel Ali and Christian’s most loyal fans from shelling out $1.29 — but I could imagine said supporters doubling down on online votes to make up for the lack of download loyalty.
Plus, Josh and Courtney sailed through to safety in Top 12 week despite subpar pitch — a problem that plagued them both again on Monday night. Could their fans have felt a decreased sense of urgency to cast their ballots this time around? Of the four singers, Josh has the biggest Twitter presence — with some 11,500 followers — but that’s not exactly the army of fans enjoyed by past competitors such as Cassadee Pope.
With that in mind, here are my controversial predictions for how Tuesday’s telecast will play out.
