Although the Nashville star tries in this video to convince TVLine that “it’s not looking good” for her comatose character, she can’t quite keep a straight face while doing so.

The Friday Night Lights alum was much more eager to spend her time on the Emmys red carpet discussing “some amazing new fellas” that the country-western sudser is bringing on to romance Ms. Jaymes in Season 2.
Before Britton was finished, she’d also revealed how her research into the lives of coma survivors could lead to the emergence of “Rayna 2.0.”
