That’s the vibe we’re getting from the following sneak peek of Tina vamping it up amid a sea of candles from the May 1 episode, titled “Choke.” The upcoming installment also features Rachel and Kurt’s auditions for NYADA and (as we first reported) guest star Whoopi Goldberg!

• Ryan Seacrest revealed Thursday via Twitter that he and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe are “putting together a tribute for Dick Clark” on tonight’s episode of American Idol. GSN (aka Game Show Network), meanwhile, will air an original remembrance of Clark on $25,000 Pyramid over the next several days, starting Friday morning.

• Jonathan Frid, who portrayed vampire Barnabas Collins on the 1960s Gothic soap Dark Shadows, has died. He was 87. Frid makes a brief cameo in Tim Burton’s upcoming big-screen adaptation of Shadows (opening May 11).

• George Lopez has been tapped to host Fox’s new dating show Take Me Out, which is set to bow June 7.

• NBC has given the green light to Ready for Love, a dating reality show from exec producer Eva Longoria. Giuliana Rancic will host the series alongside her husband Bill.

• VH1 has renewed its freshman sketch comedy series Stevie TV for a second season, to launch this fall.

• Funnyman Rob Riggle (The Daily Show) will host the 2012 ESPYs, which will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 11.

• Discovery has pulled the plug on its long-running taxi-based quiz show Cash Cab, Vulture confirms.
