Tony Hale (“Veep”) will host IFC‘s first holiday special, the aptly named “Joe’s Pub Presents: A Holiday Special,” on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 10 p.m. Filmed at Joe’s Pub’s legendary Public Theater in Manhattan, comedians scheduled to perform include Bridget Everett (“Inside Amy Schumer”), Jo Firestone (“Broad City”), Jen Kirkman (“Drunk History”) and more. The special is produced by Show Shop, and directed and executive produced by Alex Coletti, alongside executive producer Frank Garritano.

Investigation Discovery will open its vaults to present another season of “Barbara Walters Presents,” premiering Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. Featuring brand new interviews and extended scenes, the three-episode series will run through Tuesday, Dec. 20. “Barbara Walters Presents” is produced for Investigation Discovery by Lincoln Square Productions with John R. Green serving as senior executive producer, alongside Peri Muldofsky and David Perozzi as executive producers.

Animal Planet will premiere its newest series “Ocean Warriors” on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. From executive producers Robert Redford and Paul Allen, the six-part series features activists who will stop at nothing to protect the earth’s oceans. The series is a co-production between Animal Planet, Sundance Productions, Brick City TV and Vulcan Productions.

TV Land has set the return of comedy series “Teachers” and the premiere of the late-night series “Throwing Shade,” both schedule to air Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10 and 10:30 p.m., respectively. Written by improv group The Katydids, season two of “Teachers” marks the return of cast members Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O’Brien and Kathryn Renée Thomas. “Throwing Shade,” based on the hit Funny Or Die web series, is hosted by Erin Gibson (“Parks and Recreation”) and Bryan Safi (“Modern Family”) who will discuss today’s hottest political topics, including gay rights and feminism.
