‘Tiny Tiny Talk Show’ Debuts On Larry King’s Ora TV And Mobile Network Keek
EXCLUSIVE: Tiny Tiny Talk Show, a bite-sized series of video conversations targeting Millennials and hosted by comedian Whitney Rice, debuts tomorrow on Larry King’s Ora TV with interactive highlights appearing on the mobile app Keek. The program is being co-produced by Ora TV, Keek and Collab Creators.
The first of 11 10-minute episodes will appear Thursday on Ora.TV and feature actor Tony Hale (Veep). Subsequent episodes, featuring celebrities and social-media stars such as singers Khiara and Maddi Jane, will come out Tuesdays and Thursdays thereafter.
“The set may be tiny but this is a really huge idea for Ora TV to create the first-ever digital, late-night-type show,” said King, a partner in Ora TV, which also produces his own on-demand show Larry King Now among other programming.
Keek is one of those fast-growing, huge mobile-video and chat platforms that few people over the age of 25 have heard of. The company already claims more than 73 million users in 36 languages and 190 countries.
For Tiny Tiny Talk Show, it will include some of its platform’s most prominent stars and influencers in the programming. Short bits of behind-the-scenes video and bonus content from Tiny Tiny Talk Show, what Keek calls “Keekisodes,” will be released on its network. Users will be encouraged to use the platform’s functions to send in video questions for the upcoming shows’ performers.
Collab Creators will work with Keek and Ora TV to provide additional talent and creative resources for the programming.
The show’s executive producers are Drew Champion, Jacob Moffat, Allison Glader and Jason Rovou. Rice, a standup comedian and YouTuber, recently partnered with Broadway Video‘s Above Average Digital Comedy Network. Rice is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
