Taylor Swift to Guest Star on 'New Girl'

The country singer will play an angry ex-girlfriend.

Seriously, you do not want to mess with your ex if she's Taylor Swift!

The 23-year-old singer is famous for writing scathing songs about former boyfriends like Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Harry Styles. Now she's bringing her ex factor to "The New Girl"!

Entertainment Weekly reveals that Swift will guest star on the May 14 season finale of the Fox comedy as a guest at CeCe's (Hannah Simone) nuptials. Turns out she once dated the groom, Shivrang (Satya Bhabha), and is determined to stop the couple from saying "I do"! We have no doubt Schmidt (Max Greenfield) will totally be onboard to help her "speak now," which happens to be one of Swift's song about breaking up a wedding.

This marks one of Swift's rare forays into acting -- she's appeared in "CSI," starred in the movie "Valentine's Day," and hosted "Saturday Night Live."

Swift has been linked to "New Girl" before, albeit in name only. After a recent breakup, a tearful Jess (Zooey Deschanel) declared she wanted to "listen to Taylor Swift alone," while Nick (Jake Johnson) tried to cheer her up with his (terrible) dance moves. Maybe if her character's plan doesn't work out, Swift can listen to her own songs alone (or Nick can just dance some more).

"New Girl" airs Tuesdays at 9 PM on Fox.
