Steve Bannon, Reince Priebus Star in CBS’ Re-Cast ‘Odd Couple’ (Video)

This whole week has been odd, indeed.

Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” has re-re-cast the Matthew Perry-Thomas Lennon revival of “The Odd Couple” for our changing political climate. Yes, Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus are about to share an apartment.

In real life, Bannon will serve as Donald Trump’s chief strategist, while Priebus is chief of staff. Can’t wait to see how this goes!

“He’s a by-the-book Republican insider,” the classic voiceover says of Priebus.

“He’s an alt-right conspiracy theorist,” it adds of Bannon.

“Can these two run the White House without driving each other crazy?” the V.O. wonders. Us too.

In a clip, when Priebus’ Unger burns a casserole, Bannon’s Madison reminds him exactly “who controls the casserole and the banking industry.”
