Stephen Colbert Loves GOP Castration Candidate (Video)
One Iowa Senate candidate will cut pork in Washington — one squealing pig at a time.
On Thursday's “Colbert Report,” Stephen Colbert heartily endorsed Republican Joni Ernst, who boasts in a new ad that she grew up on an Iowa farm where she castrated hogs.

“Joni, you had me at castration,” Colbert said. “Folks, it does not matter what else she stands for. I am pulling for her whole hog, or whatever is left of the hog when she's done with it.”
He added: “Ernst already got Mitt Romney's endorsement, and she can have mine too, if she comes nowhere near me.”
Ernst has also scored the endorsement of Sarah Palin in the Republican primary race to replace retiring Democratic Sen. Tom Harkin.
“America demands senators with balls,” said Colbert. “And I'm guessing Joni's got a Dumpster full of them.”
