‘Spring Breakers’ Reviewers Catch “Fever”

What do the Seattle Times, New York Times, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Guardian, and MTV (to name just a few) have in common this weekend? Their movie reviews have all described Spring Breakers as a “fever dream” of one sort or another. Well over a dozen reviewers outdid themselves but all seemed to experience a specifically heightened dream state. Additional descriptions strung together randomly for your reading convenience include a candy-colored orgy of sun-dappled debauchery, a depraved visual and aural blast of sex, drugs and dubstep with gunplay, body shots and girls gone wild.
