News of Buckwild star Shain Gandee’s sudden and tragic death sent shockwaves through the MTV community.

On Monday, the network issued a statement saying: “Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly.”

The 21-year-old was reported missing over the weekend, and on Monday was reportedly found dead in his car alongside his uncle and a friend. Details surrounding the deaths are not yet clear, though Gandee was last seen at a bar in Sissonville, West Virginia, on Sunday at 3 a.m. and told patrons that he was going off-roading.

The Twitter-verse has since flooded with well wishes and condolences from fans while the cast of Buckwild expresses their grief. Also weighing in on the tragedy are fellow MTV family members, the cast of Jersey Shore.

Michael Burford, aka "Bluefoot," expressed anger at several comments he was seeing on the social networking site. "My hearts in a million god damn pieces you son of a bitches wanna make smart ass remarks," the Buckwild star wrote. "I love you Shain idk what I'm gonna do w.o. ya bro."

Added Buckwild star Katie Saria ("The College Girl"): "Everything doesn't happen for a reason I don't know why people say that."
