Samsung uses 'Galaxy' of comedy stars in Super Bowl ad [Video]

Samsung's "Next Big Thing" ad starts off well, with Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen -- as themselves -- arguing over which of them Samsung is going to hire as the face of their Next Big Thing campaign. After a fairly long snap fight that sees Rudd calling Rogen fat and Rogen calling Rudd old, they're called into a meeting with Bob Odenkirk and forced to pitch ideas for commercials that don't feature them as the stars. (Don't blink or you'll miss Amber Stevens as Odenkirk's assistant.)

Then Odenkirk takes a "meeting" with LeBron James on his tablet, a meta moment ensues... you know what, watch the ad, above. It's faster.

But... not much. Rogen, Rudd, and Odenkirk are reliably funny, and we applaud James's gameness, but the spot just lasts too long. A series of great lines at the beginning gives way to the sound of leaking air as the pitch meeting goes on...and on...and on. Split it into two ads next time, guys.

What'd you think? Funny? Too long? Started out the former, then became the latter?
