With CBS in repeats Monday, House, Smash and Dancing with the Stars all saw improvements, but failed to top The Voice.

The Voice was the top-rated show of the night, remaining steady with 10.1 million viewers and a 3.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic. Smash (6.1 million, 2.1) rose 11 percent from last week's series low, helping NBC win the night in the demo.

Who made a comeback on Dancing?

Also rebounding from a series low was Dancing (17.3 million, 3.0), which gained about a million more eyeballs — and was the night's most-watched show — and inched up 3 percent in the demo. A 20/20 special on Dancing drew 10.9 million viewers and a 2.1.

With an episode that revealed Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) has cancer, House (6.6 million, 2.3) jumped three-tenths in the demo from last week, while lead-in Bones (7 million, 2.2) was flat.

On The CW, Gossip Girl (1 million, 0.5) and Hart of Dixie (1.2 million, 0.5) both fell a tad to tie season lows.

In cable news, Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Veep premiered Sunday to a respectable 1.4 million viewers.
