Ratings: ABC Takes Back Total Viewers With ‘DWTS’

ABC took back its total viewer post last night thanks to “Dancing With the Stars.”

Last week, NBC’s “SNL Election Special” screwed everything up, handing the “Voice” home an outright Monday win. This time, ABC finished second in the key 18-49 demographic — NBC won another Monday by that important Nielsen metric.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 8.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. scored a 2.3/8 and 10.1 million viewers. At 10, “Timeless” received a 1.2/4 and 4.8 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.4/5 and first in viewers with 9 million. “DWTS” at 8 earned a 1.6/5 and 11.3 million viewers. “Conviction” at 10 had a 0.8/3 and 4.3 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.3/4 and in viewers with 6.3 million. “Kevin Can Wait” at 8 got a 1.6/5 and 7.1 million viewers. At 8:30, “Man With a Plan” posted a 1.3/4 and 6.2 million viewers. At 9, “2 Broke Girls” put up a 1.2/4 and 5.2 million viewers. “The Odd Couple” at 9:30 received a 1.0/3 and 4.7 million viewers. At 10, “Scorpion” closed primetime to a 1.2/4 and 7.2 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.1/4 and in viewers with 3.7 million. “Gotham” at 8 had a 1.2/4 and 3.6 million viewers. At 9, “Lucifer” got a 1.1/4 and 3.9 million viewers.

Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and seventh in viewers with 1.831 million.

The CW and Univision tied for sixth in ratings, both with a 0.6/2. The CW was fifth in total viewers with 2 million, Univision was sixth with 1.839 million.

For CW, “Supergirl” at 8 had a 0.8/3 and 2.8 million viewers. At 9, “Jane The Virgin” got a 0.5/1 and 1.4 million viewers.
