Both films will be screening at the London Screenings later this month, with “Pudsey the Dog” on June 24 and “Redirected” on June 25. The four-day export event showcases British films and talent to the international market, attracting buyers worldwide to meet U.K. sales companies and negotiate distribution deals.

“Pudsey,” directed by Nick Moore (“Wild Child,” “Horrid Henry: The Movie”), and written by Paul Rose, is a tale of friendship and courage centering on a city dog moved to the countryside with his new loving family. Pudsey is the U.K.’s most famous dog who, along with his trainer Ashleigh, won “Britain’s Got Talent” in May 2012. The film is produced by Vertigo Films’ Rupert Preston, Allan Niblo and James Richardson, and co-produced by Syco.

Directed by Emilis Velyvis (“Zero 2″), “Redirected” is an action comedy starring Hollywood hard man Vinnie Jones (“Escape Plan,” “Snatched”), Scot Williams (“Backbeat,” “The Crew”), Gil Darnell (“Valiant”), and Oliver Jackson (“Entity”). With a script co-written by Velyvis and Jonas Banys (“Zero 2″), the film is produced by Asta Liukaityte, Daiva Jovaisiene, Donatas Simukauskas and Norbertas Pranckus. Jacqueline Quella and David Boaretto serve as executive producers.

“Redirected,” which made its world premiere in Lithuania, has raced to the country’s biggest box office ever and currently has an IMDB rating of 9.4 out 10 from over 10,000 votes; its trailer has attracted over 600,000 views on YouTube. The film is a U.K./Lithuanian production shot on location in London and Lithuania.

Harry White, head of sales at Content, said: “Both ‘Pudsey’ and ‘Redirected’ are clear indicators that with an original concept, a strong script, and great execution, British, and British/Lithuanian, films can continue to break out internationally.”
