Van Der Beek played a heightened, narcissistic version of himself in ABC’s unofficially cancelled Don’t Trust the B—-. In addition to Dawson’s Creek, he’s appeared in One Tree Hill, Mercy, and Law & Order: SVU. He also recently reprised his role of Robin Sparkles’ boyfriend Simon on How I Met Your Mother.
