Paley Center Announces Trio of Exec Appointments

The Paley Center for Media has upped Diane Lewis to exec veep of programming, and hired Maureen Reidy as chief marketing officer, and Maxim Thorne as exec vice prez of development.

“I am very pleased to welcome Maureen Reidy and Maxim Thorne to The Paley Center for Media and to recognize the role Diane Lewis has played in bringing our programming to international prominence,” said Pat Mitchell, president and CEO of the Paley Center. “As the media landscape continues to change at a lightening pace, the Paley Center, which provides insight and context for both the media industry and media consumers, has never been more vital. The combined expertise of these three executives will be a tremendous asset to our organization and bring the Paley Center to even greater levels of success.”

Lewis has logged over 25 years at the media institution, most recently serving as vice president of public affairs and programs. Lewis has also exec produced the Paley Center’s annual TV spesh for over a decade, and three seasons of “At the Paley Center” for WNET. She will continue to produce these programs in her new post.

Reidy joins the Paley Center after topping The Argus Group, a full-service marketing agency. Before that, Reidy was chief operating officer at IMG Fashion, and has held a range of positions within Mayor Bloomberg’s administration.

Thorne, who is actively involved in the academic and philanthropic community, was vice prez and general counsel of BOS Developing, where he guided the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy. He has also served as senior veep and chief development and communications officer at NAACP.
