The New Normal Casts White Collar's Matt Bomer as Bryan's 'Sexy Ex'

This is a kind of New Normal we can get used to: White Collar leading man Matt Bomer will guest star on the NBC comedy.

Bomer will play a former flame of Andrew Rannells’ Bryan, who is engaged to — and expecting a baby with — David (Justin Bartha).

Creator Ryan Murphy announced the casting via Twitter on Wednesday, although reps for the series tell TVLine Bomer’s deal hasn’t closed yet.

“Guess who’s coming on The New Normal as Bryan’s [Andrew Rannells] sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only Matt Bomer!!!” he wrote.

Fans of Murphy’s Glee will of course remember that the Magic Mike star appeared on the Fox musical hit as Blaine’s thespian — and we use that term lightly — brother Cooper Anderson last season.

Are you excited to see Matt Bomer on the NBC comedy? How fun would it be if the actor’s New Normal character was a star on Bryan’s Glee-like series Sing? Sound off in the comments!
