‘Nashville’ Ends in Car Crash Cliffhanger

Thursday’s Nashville ended with a bang as Rayna was involved in a serious car crash. Earlier in the episode, Rayna was working in her office when a stalker appeared with a knife. Rayna had gotten a restraining order against the man in a previous episode, but the deranged fan, Wayne, hid in her office waiting for her.

She was able to calm him down until he discovered that she had called 911. Her personal security jumped into action and confronted the stalker with guns drawn.

To escape the drama, Rayna left the scene in a car headed to the comfort of her home, but she was hit by a truck en route. The episode ended with a black frame and the sound of a car horn blaring.

Nashville airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CMT.
