Nancy O’Dell Addresses Donald Trump’s Lewd Remarks on ‘ET’ (Video)

Nancy O’Dell has directly addressed the now-famous 2005 tape in which Donald Trump made lewd remarks about her and other women.

“I released a statement on Saturday, and I truly mean what I said,” O’Dell said Monday afternoon on “Entertainment Tonight.” “There is no room for objectification of women, or anyone for that matter — not even in the locker room.”

Here’s the prior statement O’Dell referred to:

“Politics aside, I’m saddened that these comments still exist in our society at all,” she said this weekend. “When I heard the comments yesterday, it was disappointing to hear such objectification of women. The conversation needs to change because no female, no person, should be the subject of such crass comments, whether or not cameras are rolling. Everyone deserves respect no matter the setting or gender. As a woman who has worked very hard to establish her career, and as a mom, I feel I must speak out with the hope that as a society we will always strive to be better.”

Trump was caught on a hot mic talking with Billy Bush, who at the time was O’Dell’s “ET” co-host. Since the video surfaced late last week, Bush has been suspended from the “Today” show’s third hour.

On the tape, Bush appeared to be encouraging Trump, who has since wrote the whole incident off as “locker room talk.” Bush’s apology was a bit more heartfelt.

Here’s what Trump said to Bush about O’Dell 11 years ago:
“I moved on her actually, she was down in Palm Beach and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try to f– her, she was married … and I moved on her very heavily.”

“I moved on her like a bitch, and I could not get there, and she was married. And all the sudden I see her and she’s got the big phony tits, she’s totally changed her look.”

The comments were a hot topic Sunday at the second presidential debate.
