Morgan Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment Signs First Look Deal With CBS TV Studios

Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary’s Revelations Entertainment has signed a multi-year first-look deal with CBS Television Studios in scripted television and digital media.

The pact marks CBS TV Studios’ expansion of their relationship with Freeman and McCreary, who serve as exec producers on CBS’ “Madam Secretary.” The political drama, which has been renewed for a second season, is the first scripted television program for Revelations.

“Since the beginning of our partnership on ‘Madam Secretary,’ we were determined to lure Revelations to the studio in a bigger way,” said David Stapf, president of CBS Television Studios. “Lori and Morgan are collaborative, insightful and a pleasure to work with in all parts of the creative process.”

Freeman and McCreary commented, “David Stapf and his whole team at CBS Studios have been the best partners we could imagine. Network television has been an amazing ride for us so far, and we can’t wait to see where our journey together takes us next.”

“Madam Secretary,” starring Téa Leoni, is the most watched scripted broadcast on Sunday night, and the number two new series of the season averaging 14.84 million viewers.

Revelations Entertainment is represented by CAA and attorneys Jason Sloane and AJ Brandenstein.
