Miss USA Contestants Carbo-Load Ahead of Pageant... Or Do They? [Photos]
The 2013 Miss USA beauty queens are taking a bite out of Las Vegas … or at least they are for the cameras!
The contestants of the Miss USA pageant have descended on the desert locale ahead of the much-anticipated pageant airing this Sunday on NBC and have been photographed chowing down on everything from burgers to milkshakes to pasta.
During the preliminary competition taking place this week in Las Vegas, the contestants have gotten a taste of everything Sin City has to offer by stopping by famous hotspots: Nobu at Caesar's Palace, Buca di Beppo, Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill, Gordon Ramsay's BurGR, and more delectable destinations.

But the idea of the gorgeous gals tucking into calorie-laden treats so close to their final bid for the crown seems a bit far-fetched.
The ladies have prepared all year long to get their smokin' hot bodies into tip-top shape and are in the midst of the competition. This past week the bevy of beauties have competed in the interview, eveningwear, and swimsuit competitions, where they're judged on their stellar physiques among other qualities. Next up, the finalists will compete on Sunday's live show from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
While we doubt they actually chowed down on the delicious dishes — their plates are practically untouched in the photos — we're hoping they at least took a bite or two. Those treats look too good to pass up!
